Russian Ambassadorto China Andrey Denisov can speak fluent Chinese and he is actually a Mr. Chinahimself. He visited Anhui twice and is quite familiar with the development ofthe province.
“Mt. Huangshanis famous all over the world. I climbed up the mountain during my second visitto Anhui. I felt I finally made my dream true when I was on the top of themountain,” he said.
He even toldour reporter that if time and opportunity permit, he would like to climb themountain again as an ordinary tourist to fully enjoy the wonderful scenery ofMt. Huangshan.
Theambassador stressed that Mt. Huangshan is picturesque and attracts people fromall over the world. People who were lucky enough to visit the mountain couldnever forget it.
Whentalking about Mt. Tianzhu, the ambassador told our reporter that many Russians wentthere to study martial arts andqigong.
“Today,Anhui is a high-tech development center. I am very pleased to see Russianscholars working closely with Anhui scientists in Hefei in the fields of innovationand application,” Andrey Denisov said.
“Anhui iswidely known in Russia and it has twinned with seven regions of Russia. Thecooperation mechanism between the district along the Volga River Bank andChina's Yangtze River Delta region is a good example, which plays an importantrole in promoting the cooperation between the two countries,” he added.
